CHECK-IN LOCATION
From Bunya Mountains Road turn into Bunya Avenue at “Dandabah” sign. We are located on RHS, ½ km down opposite Dandabah camping area. Look for sign “Bunya Mountains Accommodation” and the Australian flag at our entrance. Upon arrival at our office, please have youre credit card and driver's licence with you. You will need to formerly accept our terms and conditions and leave a copy of your credit card details and driver's licence. Debit, eftpos cards or cheques are not acceptable. If you do not have a credit card, you will be required to leave a $200 cash bond which will be refundable by cheque after you leave and the house has been cleaned.

LATE ARRIVALS:
Late arrival check-in arrangements can be made with our friendly office staff. Please be sure to organise this and any linen requirements within office hours to avoid disappointment and inconvenience!

A minimum fee of 50% of nightly rate will apply.

POWER OUTAGES, FLORA, FAUNA & WILDLIFE SAFETY
Power Outages may occur due to our remote location.  ERGON usually remedy this within 1 – 2 hours. Meanwhile you will be left without water & lights.  All houses without a tap on their water tank should have a 10 litre water container for emergency water.  If this container is empty, please refill from the tap outside our office. If yours is missing, please collect another one from the office.  It will give you drinking water and the ability to flush toilets until power is restored. If there are no candles in your house, please collect some tea candles from the office.
Flora & Fauna During walks take particular care to check for and where possible avoid contact with:
• Falling Bunya Cones
• Stinging Nettles & Gympie stinging trees
• Ticks – Apply Rid or equivalent as repellent
Wildlife Safety “Wallaby crossing” signs are numerous as you climb the mountain for good reason. Wildlife residents cross roads without warning. Please drive slowly & with care.

GAS BBQ BOTTLE PROCEDURE
We are unable to ensure Gas Bottles are full. Please fill Gas Bottle on your house’s account at the General Store.

GATE KEYS
Keys are required for gate entry to homes within both Estates. For extra gate keys a $10 refundable deposit is required.

Public phone is opposite General Store. Mobile phone reception is patchy - best Reception is in sight of the mobile phone tower on top of Mt Mowbullan near Fischer’s Lookout

WHEN SHOULD WE ARRIVE?
Ideally, we recommend guests, particularly newcomers to Bunya Mountains, to arrive during daylight hours. We appreciate however the difference between the ideal and reality! If arriving after dark, please note that the estates cover many hectares and are unlit at night. You will need torches to find your destinations and also in colder weather you may need to cut wood when you arrive. Be sure to arrange late arrival options if arriving after office hours.

WHAT TO BRING?
• Linen - Sheets, towels, pillowcases, tea towels and bath mats       Or Hire Linen from office.
• Food & Beverages - Including tea / coffee / milk.
• No petrol, ATM or alcohol outlets on the mountain- NB: 30kms to nearest service station.
• Adequate clothing & footwear
• Temperatures are 5 - 7ºC cooler than surrounding plains
• Toiletries, Toilet Paper, Soaps, Detergents and Garbage bags
• First Aid Items - Tea tree oil or Pyrethrins, Stingose,

• Firestarters & Matches
