Bunya Mountains Accommodation Terms & Conditions

Bookings are accepted on the understanding that Tenants agree to comply with our Terms and Conditions as follows:

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Upon arrival at our office, please formally accept our terms and conditions. A preauthorization for 1 night’s accommodation is required by Mastercard or Visa credit card. (Please Note Bunya Mountain Lodge requires $500)  If you do not have a credit card, a $200 bond will be required in cash or as an eftpos transaction.  Once the cleaner has inspected your chalet, this bond will be returned to you by cheque and/or your preauthorization details shredded. Check in from 2pm; check out 10am unless prior arrangements have been made and noted by the office staff. Occupancy starts on collection of key & finishes when key is returned to office.

BODY CORP REGULATIONS:
Body Corporate By-Laws apply, as displayed in Office.  Please observe these including keeping the gates locked at all times.

CANCELLATIONS / CHANGES / EARLY DEPARTURES and TERMINATION of BOOKINGS
Management reserves the right to decline or terminate a booking within 14 days of a booking being made.

Cancellation of Booking We will refund your deposit less a $20 cancellation fee provided we can rebook the property for the full period. If the property is not rebooked, one night’s accommodation will be charged for that property.

Transfer Booking - a transfer fee of $5 will apply and new confirmation details will be posted out to you, provided we are given enough notice to rebook the original property.   

Early Departures. No refund is given for early departures - Guests who have arrived and then leave before the booking departure date, will be responsible for the accommodation for the full period of their booking.

CLEANING SURCHARGE
Tenants undertake to leave home secured - in a tidy condition with washing up done & put away,  hire linen returned, all rubbish deposited in Industrial Bins and BBQ’s left clean & tidy.  Surcharges will apply if these are not carried out or house is left in an unacceptably dirty or untidy condition.

CONFIRMATION OF BOOKING The Booking is accepted on the understanding that individual tariff or tariff schedule rates quoted may be increased without notice. Tenants are advised to check current rates prior to arrival. 

DAMAGE TO PROPERTY OR BREAKAGES
The Tenant accepts to reimburse such costs and any fees involved to the Owner of the property.

DEPOSIT & CHECK BOOKING DATES
To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of one night’s accommodation within 14 days of booking being made or if arriving within 14 days a deposit is required upfront. Tenants are required to check their booking receipt and contact our office immediately should there be any discrepancies.

DISCLAIMER
The Agent makes the booking in good faith. However we cannot accept responsibility for unforeseen actions by an owner that may result in changes to a property or cancellation of a booking. In such situations, every endeavour will be made to offer alternative accommodation.

FIRE SAFETY REGULATIONS
No open fires are permitted. Tenants accept due care & responsibility to keep their fire door closed & carefully deposit cool ash into ASH BINS provided. No rubbish is to be deposited into Ash Bins or rubbish disposal fees will apply.

HIRE or LOAN ITEMS
Hired Linen, borrowed TV’s, DVD players etc must be returned to the office or surcharges will apply.

LOCK HOMES AND GATES
Tenants accept to lock homes & secure windows whenever vacant and upon departure; to return keys to office before leaving; and to lock gates to estates at all times.

LOST PROPERTY
We accept no responsibility for tenants’ property left on the premises; however we will collect and return it to you COD.

NOISE
Tenants accept that all music and other loud noise must cease by 11pm. Administration Fees up to $200 and/or police visits will apply in response to noise complaints.

PARTY POLICY / WEDDINGS
Wedding Ceremonies and Receptions or large parties are NOT PERMITTED in any homes without prior consent from Office Manager - Any house found to be used for large gatherings will be charged at the maximum occupancy rate, unless prior agreements have been made through this office.

PETS
Pets are NOT permitted - No exceptions.  If you are found with a pet you will be asked to leave immediately with no refund. There is a good boarding kennel for cats & dogs at Nanango.  Phone Janice at the Nanango Pet Motel on 41631310. 

PRIVACY POLICY
Our Privacy Policy is available on our website, brochure or a copy obtained from our Office.

RELOCATION or MOVING OF ITEMS & FURNITURE
Please leave the furniture as you found it and house items within the house. Surcharges will occur if we have to reinstate furniture or locate items belonging to that house from other houses.

RUBBISH
All rubbish must be removed from your home and deposited in the Industrial Bins upon departure.  Surcharges apply for disposal of rubbish left in home or deposited in Ash Bins.

SURCHARGES
Tenants accept to provide Credit Card Details for payment in case the following Surcharges are found to be applicable following departure:

Undeclared Guests as per Tariff Schedule + admin fee
Linen Collection Fee  $30.00
Rubbish Disposal Fee from $20.00
Extra Cleaning Fee from $75.00
Damage/Loss/Breakages as per Cost
Administration Fees $30.00
Failing to return house key $50
Collecting house key from General Store $20
Furniture Re-Location $35hr w/ $15 Minimum
Item Re-Location $35hr w/ $15 Minimum
Wood chopping $20 Min
Theft of any items including wood at cost + admin fee
Tenants will be advised of due charges and provided with any relevant documentation and receipts

TARIFF SCHEDULE PRICE INCREASE
Because we take bookings up to 2 years in advance, prices are subject to change without notice. However most changes to individual tariff and tariff schedules will occur on April 01 in any given year – please check our web page www.bunyamountains.com or phone (07) 4668 3126 for current prices.

TENANT NUMBERS
Our online system will default to 2 people on your receipt. Please
declare total number of guests (adults 16 years & over and children 2 – 15 years) for the duration of your booking at check in.

WOOD CHOPPING
Wood is provided in block form only. If you would like your wood cut prior to your arrival, please arrange through the office & a fee will apply (see surcharges).

WATER CONSERVATION
Tenants undertake to use water in moderation, particularly during periods of low rainfall. Surcharges apply for excess use.  A load of water to Bunya Mountains is very expensive.
